Getting Started on the Nursery...

I had such a fun weekend getting started on the nursery. My sweet husband and his friends painted the room on Saturday and then on Sunday my sis, Kate, came over and helped me assemble the crib (thank you Auntie Kate!). The room is far from being done, but I couldn't resist laying out a few items from my baby shower just for fun. Here's a little peek...
P.S. That's my original copy of Goodnight Moon my mom found and gave to me at my shower. One time when I was little, we were in a hotel in Europe and she forgot Goodnight Moon (uh oh!). Just before I had a full meltdown, my mom started reciting it and sure enough she had read it to me so many times she knew it word for word and saved the day. Way to go mom!

This is my first time bumping into your blog. Anticipation and preparation are so much fun. Please don't see my concern as anything but loving, but please reconsider using the bumper pads as pictured. They can be a tragic hazard to that crib's tenant. http://www2.wspa.com/news/2011/oct/19/warning-parents-dont-use-crib-bumpers-ar-2576977/
