I had the best time in NYC with my mom. We realized that it was the last mother daughter trip we would be taking for a long time. Pretty soon there will be another girl joining us, which we are extremely excited about, but it was very sweet to have one last trip just the two of us. We had a blast at the NY Gift Show and our candles were a huge hit! Most nights we were exhausted after long days on our feet and spent lazy nights in at our hotel but we did managed to see two plays: The Bluebird at The Atlantic and The Book of Mormon! Both left me with tears streaming down my face, but for very different reasons. The Bluebird was heart wrenching while The Book of Mormon had me laughing so hard I could barely breathe. We went for a few walks in central park, caught up with friends and family and mainly just laughed at the hilarious gift show bubble we were in. Our friend Connie (pictured below) from the booth across the aisle kept us wildly entertained! I left NYC to meet up with my husband and friends up in Vermont where we have rented a cabin for the last four days. I have never seen so much green! We leave today to go spend five days with Charlie's family. It has been the most relaxing vacation so far and I can't wait to enjoy more (especially after being in NYC for the show which was fun but oh so exhausting!) Here are some NYC pics and I will post some of our Vermont trip when I have time. But for now, I am going to relax and soak up the beautiful Northeast!
